2. Love

Hee hee~ Hello! Here's the second theme: Love.

Good luck finding it.

2. Love

It was warm and muggy, but that did not change the fact that Tre wanted hot chocolate. It was just something that he always had when it was either snowing or raining.

Perhaps… He thought to himself, holding the hot chocolate mix. It would be nice to try it with ice cream, or even cold?

Placing the mix down, Tre walked over to the refrigerator, opening up the freezer. Picking up the carton of ice cream, he tossed it to the counter, knocking a few spoons and such over. Then he waltzed over to the cabinet, taking out a bowl and a spoon. Using the spoon to scoop some ice cream, he gave it a quick lick when he was finished, using his free hands to open the hot chocolate mix, pouring it over the bowl. Giving the spoon one last lick, Tre began to mix the ice cream with the mix. Soon enough, the colors mixed together producing a light brown color. Taking a spoonful, Tre put it in his mouth and after a moment of sucking, decided that it was pretty good. Keeping the spoon in his mouth, Tre walked over to the couch and plopped down, reaching for the remote he turned the television on.

Quietly flipping through the channels, Tre did not see a single thing on: the occasional news channel, a couple of kids’ cartoons, nothing much. Scooping another scoop into his mouth, he found it necessary that he should bother starting his homework. Leaving on a children’s cartoon, Tre finished off his ice cream and began to wash the bowl and spoon.

As he squirted the green colored dish soap into the bowl, Tre discovered that he actually needed more. Taking a mental note that ne needed more; the teen quietly scrubbed the bowl, thoroughly cleaning it before starting on the spoon. The sound of the television could be heard in the back, accompanied by the sound of the rain.

It was odd living alone.

Tre’s green eyes stared at the spoon in his hand. Turning it over, he looked at his reflection. Strangely enough, the obscurity to it actually entertained him.

Smile crossing his face, Tre grabbed a towel, drying the dishes and putting them back in their respected spots. Tossing the towel aside afterwards, he made his way back into the living room, plopping down on the couch. His sigh filled the room. Tre did not particularly want to do his homework at that moment.

Then a thought came to him: check the mail! Maybe he had something from Morgan.

Morgan Bell was Tre’s solider pen pal. He had been writing to him for a good three years. Tre felt as though he knew Morgan his whole life, they told each other everything about one another. Morgan was a 47 year old man, who has been married to a lovely woman by the name of Clara and they had a total of three kids (two boys named Andrew and Abe, and his little girl named Victoria “Vicki”, Tre had heard that she loved the letter ‘I’ and refused to have her nickname spelled any other way.) He had been stationed for a total of three years, the amount of time that they had been writing. At first, the writing to a soldier thing was just for a school project, but Tre did not have the heart to break it off, he learned to love this stranger.

Walking to the door, Tre reached around for an umbrella. Finding a small one, Tre opened the door, and then opened the umbrella. Stepping under its protection, he made his way to the mailbox. Forcing the door of the mailbox open, Tre reached in without bothering to look and pulled out a stack of letters. Rushing back into the house, Tre opened the door and tossed the mail to the ground. Shaking the umbrella out a bit, Tre left it by the door to dry. Picking the mail up, he threw aside some of the unimportant things such as the junk mail, advertisements, bills, looking for a letter from his friend. To his own surprise, he found one. The envelope appeared to be a different color from the rest of the concealed mail, almost having a tint of yellow.

Grabbing his letter opener from the kitchen counter (normally, he would not care, but it was different in the case of Morgan’s letters). Gently sliding the knife across the letter, Tre popped it open. Excitement began to build up inside of him as began to read it.

Dear Tre,

I’m sorry college life isn’t what you thought it would be. Living alone in a house instead of a dorm may have something to do with that though, son.

Son. Tre felt his chest tighten as a smile stretched across his face. He loved being called things like that (such as dear, honey, etc.), though people rarely did. Yet, when would somebody find the time to call him those names?

The dorm life seems to be what everyone talks about for college. But I think you are in a lucky place. You have your own place and no distractions from drunken roommates (the good old days).

You have to send me some of your work sometime; I’m really interested to see what you’re creating with that mind of yours (I’m sure it’s great).

The guys say hi.

Sincerely,

Morgan.

PS. Go do your homework.

Tre felt slightly disappointed by the letter’s short length (especially that last line). Perhaps it was busy there while he wrote it, or even tired…

Picking the letter and it’s envelop up, Tre made his way into his room. He had to put it away with the others before he started his homework. Walking into his room, Tre hopped onto the bed, leaning over it to pull out what appeared to be a normal shoebox. A normal shoebox to the average person.

Opening the top, Tre smiled at the organized letter collection. Placing it at the back of the pile, Tre slipped it back under the bed, accompanied by five other boxes. Smoothing out the bed sheets, Tre walked out of his bedroom and back into the living room. Sighing deeply, he fell onto his sofa and gave a quick look around.

Picking up his text book, that is when he noticed his notebook was missing.

It wasn’t just any notebook. It was the MOST important notebook for that class! It had all of his notes in it from lectures!

Violently leaping off the sofa, Tre ran over to the door, grabbing his shoes. Slipping them on in a hurried fashion, Tre looked out the window, noticing that the rain was still sprinkling. Limping towards the closet, Tre pulled out an umbrella. Rushing over to the door, Tre opened it, putting the umbrella before himself. Opening the umbrella Tre jumped into the rain (but not before carefully locking his front door).

Rain pelting against the ground, Tre ran towards his school.

It had to be open.

The class had to be still open.

Skidding to a stop, Tre caught his breath. Leaning forward, he pressed the cross walk button. Quickly glancing at his watch, Tre saw that it wasn’t too late… The class should still be open.

A few people beside him began moving. Looking up, he noticed that the cross light was now that little stick figure instead of the hand. Quickly rushing across the dark grey street, Tre hurriedly made his way back to the school.

He should visit the professor before entering the class… Tre decided for himself, approaching the teacher’s room.

“Professor?” He asked, knocking on the door.

The short, balding man looked up from his desk. “Oh! Tre, hello.” Standing up, he walking towards the door, letting Tre in. “What brings you here?”

“Professor Gimmons, I left my-” Tre’s voice trailed off as his elder pulled out his blue notebook.

“Your notebook?” He asked, a smile on his face as he handed it to his pupil.

Tre reflected the smile as he took it. “Thank you sir!”

The professor laughed. “No problem.” Turning to his desk, he suddenly muttered. What he muttered, Tre was not sure, but it didn’t sound very good.

“Sir?”

“Oh.” Professor Gimmons gave a nervous smile. “I forgot to buy something on the grocery list.”

“I can go and buy it for you! It’s no problem.” Tre offered.

After a moment of muttering to himself, the professor eventually gave in to his student’s pleading.

“If it isn’t out of the way for you…”

“Not at all, I need to buy some things too.” Tre lied.

The older man gave a nervous smile. “Thank you, when you go…” He began to dig around in his pockets, pulling out a few bills. “I just need a carton of milk.”

Taking the bills, Tre nodded. “And I just come back here?”

“If it’s not troublesome.”

“Not at all!” Tre stated, smiling. Putting the money into his pocket, he turned and left his professor in his room.

Stepping out into the sprinkling rain wasn’t too back. It was better than earlier at least.

Clutching the notebook to his chest, Tre began to ponder the closest grocery mart. The only one that he could think of that sold both milk and… what did he want to buy?

He felt himself frown.

Well, this gave him a chance to procrastinate on his homework. If he was procrastinating now, he might as well go to the one near the park. It was a nice, little market anyways.

Though it was dark and misting, the part still had a good amount of people in it. Couples walking with one another under an umbrella, kids playing in the puddles (what they were doing out at that time, Tre had no clue) and so on. Tre continued to walk down the path, distracted by the little things people were doing.

That’s when he saw the body.

It was a bit in the distance, but it was a body nonetheless. Shivers running down his spine, Tre quickly ran over to the body. It seemed to be covered in newspapers… and then, he realized that a bright blue umbrella was next to it…

Panic slapped him in the face. It was Lex!

Running towards the body, he skidded, slipping on the wet mud, smashing into Lex’s body. Both men screamed, their bodies shooting up.

Lex stared at Tre for a moment, his eyes wide in bewilderment. Tre on the other hand, sat next to him, panting and out of breath.

“What are you doing on the ground?” Tre asked, trying to sound angry, but all he did was sound tired.

“Trying to sleep.” Lex muttered, brushing his wet hair out of his eyes.

“What about a house?” Tre continued, slowly getting his breath back.

Lex broke their eye contact and looked towards the ground. “I got…. Kicked out of my last living arrangement.”

Tre suddenly knew why. “You mean money?”

Lex looked back up towards Tre. Paused for a moment, and then said: “You can say that.”

Standing up, Tre held his hand out to Lex. “Why don’t you come live with me?”

Lex stared at Tre, emotions dancing around his face. Giving a tilt to his head, he only said one word: “Why?”

“Why? How long have you been sleeping like this?”

Lex muttered something, causing Tre to ask him to repeat it.

“A few weeks…” He muttered shamefully.

“A few weeks?” Tre repeated, clearly shocked. “But the weather’s been so bad!”

The blonde shrugged, laughing a bit. “Yes it has been.”

Tre shook his head. “You need to come and live with me. I don’t care what you say.” Tre then held out his hand.

Lex stood up, ignoring Tre’s hand. Leaning towards him, a smile stretched across Lex’s face. “How can you just let someone like me wander into your house?”

“Like you?” Tre asked, a nervous smile crossing his face. What was that supposed to mean?

Lex leaned back, eyeing Tre. “You really mean it, hm?” His lips curled into a real smile. “Well! Aren’t you sweet?”

Tre stared at him for a moment, as Lex bent down and started to pick up his things.

What was that about…?

After picking up a few items, clearing the little area that Tre assumed Lex used as his home, Lex swung the bag over his shoulder. Scurrying over to Tre, Lex slipped his wet arm into his. Almost instantly, Tre felt his arm get soaked. The blonde gave Tre’s arm a tight squeeze.

“Wanna hold hands?” Lex asked, an unusual smile stretching across his face.

Tre felt himself jump. Was he serious? Face heating up, Tre opened his mouth, only to be interrupted by Lex pulled himself away, laughing.

“I’m kidding.” He held his hands up. “We both have umbrellas, right?” With a smile, he shook out his blue umbrella and opened it. “See?”

Tre gave a quick nod. Why did his parents raise him to be so nice?

“What are you doing out at this time anyways?” Lex asked, peeking over at Tre.

“Ah. I left my notebook at school.” He stated, holding it up. “And our professor needed something from the grocery…”

Lex’s smile faded a bit, and replaced with his lip sticking out slightly. “Oh?”

Tre nodded. “Just some milk.”

Lex nodded. “Yup. Alright.” He twirled the umbrella handle, eyeing Tre.

“And I want to get something.” Tre lied, avoiding Lex’s eye contact as he started to walk.

“Oh?” Lex asked, leaning a bit towards the other, as he too began to walk.

“Just some bread.” Tre said the first thing that came to his mind.

“Bread.” Lex repeated in a dull tone. Giving a quick shrug, he quickly changed topics. “So…”

Tre looked over at Lex, catching a hint of red to his cheeks.

“What’s…your house like? Do you want me to do chores?”

Tre felt his heart give a sight lurch. “You can just live there… ya know, as an equal. No need to force a payment on yourself.”

Lex frowned. “That’s not fair.”

“No, it’s fine. Trust me” Tre smiled, waiting for Lex to just accept the fact.

“How about I paint you something?” Lex chirped excitement in his voice.

“Paint?” Tre asked, tilting his head a bit as he watched Lex spin his umbrella again.

“I’m an art major, you know.” Lex stated, a smile on his face. “I could paint you something nice for…your house?”

Tre nodded.

“House.” Lex finalized, and then shrugged. “Well, ya never know.” Twirling the umbrella again, he flashed a smile. “Shopping now?”

*~*~*

“You’re such a good boy giving the professah his change~” Lex sang, jumping into a puddle, splashing Tre a bit.

“Why wouldn’t I?” Tre frowned at his pants.

“Dunno, kids can be jerks.”

Tre sighed, shaking his head. “True.”

“But you aren’t a jerk.” Lex looked back at Tre. “You’re sweet.”

Tre stared at him for a moment. Lex was such a strange person. Should he really be letting this guy sleep in his house?

“Thanks.” Tre muttered, walking up the stairs to his house, Lex following him closely. Placing the key into the lock, Tre pushed it open, stepping inside.

“Welcome home.”Tre said, a smile forming on his lips.

The wet blonde stepped inside of the doorway, his honey eyes looking around in awe. “This is where you live?” He breathed, dropping the umbrella by the door.

Tre nodded as he walked over to the umbrella, picking it up.

“Ah! Sorry about that.” Lex stuttered, reaching for his umbrella. Tre felt himself shiver as the boy’s hand touched his own.

“That was rude.” Lex laughed nervously as he proceeded to ask where to place it.

Tre shook his head. “Just take your shoes off and I can take care of it.” Stepping out of the room for a moment, he went straight towards the bathroom, dumping the umbrellas in the bathtub. Making sure that they were all set, he went back into the living room.

His green eyes examined Lex. He was soaking wet. “Do you think you’re my size?” Tre asked, watching Lex take his shoes off.

“Hm?”

Peeling off a layer of his own clothing, Tre tossed it into the kitchen. “You’re soaked. You can’t stay like that.”

Lex looked down at himself. “Well, what do you know? I’m a bit wet.” He smiled up at Tre as the darker man continued taking off another layer. Tre stopped midway when he realized that Lex was staring.

“Oh!” Lex took off his own jacket, tossing it to where Tre threw his and then continued stripping.

“Woo~” Lex breathed, tossing his shirt aside. “That feels a lot better!” Shaking his hands out for a moment, he started to unbutton his jeans.

Tre felt his cheeks redden as he rushed over to the other man, grabbing Lex’s hands.

“What are you doing?!” Tre yelped, pushing Lex’s hands downward.

Lex’s eyes widened, glancing down at where they connected. “I was just taking my pants off…”

Tre stared at him for a moment. “But why are you stripping in front of me…?” What the hell was wrong with him?

“You were~” Lex sang, leaning towards Tre.

Tre felt his cheeks redden. There was no argument there. He was practically stripping in front of Lex…

“I-I wasn’t taking my pants off.”

Lex frowned. “Touché.” The blonde then buttoned his pants. Hands on his hips, Lex looked at Tre. “Well now, what do I do?”

Tre sighed, times like this, he wished that he still lived with another person. “Well…” Giving a quick look around the room, Tre’s green eyes caught sight of a trash bag. Rushing over to it, he picked it up and tossed it over a chair. “Just sit there, I’ll get some pants.” Turning to leave the room, Tre could hear Lex sit down on the bag.

Rushing into his room, Tre opened his sweat pants drawer and dumped it out. Taking off all of his wet clothing, Tre put on a new outfit. Then a thought crossed his mind.

Underwear.

What the hell was Tre supposed to do about Lex needing underwear? Frowning at his clothes, Tre picked up a pile of sweatpants. He had nothing to worry about at the moment. Guys didn’t need underwear like girls did, Lex would be fine if he needed underwear. Rushing out of his room, Tre kicked the door shut. Walking back to Lex, Tre held out the pile of pants to the blonde.

“Here.” Tre said, placing them into his hands. Lex gave Tre an odd look, then stood up.

“Thanks.” Standing up, Lex knocked the bag off of him. “So just go to the bathroom?” Lex asked, nodding towards the bathroom.

“Sure. Unless you want to use my room.”

Perhaps that was a mistake.

“I can change in your room?” Lex asked, the expression on his face was full of curiousity.

Tre felt his stomach sink. “It you really want to…”

Without another word Lex skipped by Tre. Juggling with the pants, Lex was able to open the door to Tre’s room and successfully shut it.

That left Tre, alone in the living room without a Lex. Looking around, Tre sat himself down on the couch.

What was Lex doing in his room?

Nah. Changing of course. Lex wasn’t the type to actually look through someone’s stuff. That didn’t stop Tre from feeling uncomfortable though.

“Thanks~” Lex shouted, emerging from Tre’s room. “I put the other pairs of pants on your bed, ok?” The blonde flashed Tre a smile.

“That’s fine.” Tre said, looking at what pair of pants Lex had chosen. It seemed as though he just picked a normal, navy blue pair of sweatpants. He however was still not wearing a shirt. “Don’t you want a shirt?”

Lex looked down at himself. “Well…” It almost appeared as though he was questioning the idea of wearing a shirt.

Tre mentally slapped himself. Who was he to say if Lex could wear a shirt while he slept? It was rather hot out.

“Yeah.” Lex said after a moment of looking at Tre. “I’ll see if I have a shirt.” The blonde began to look around.

Tre sighed. “No, I’m just tired. Do what you want.” Tre forced himself to smile. “I get kinda cranky when I’m tired, sorry.”

Lex returned the smile. “Don’t! It’s cute, you’re like a kid.”

Tre felt his cheeks blush. “Well. Don’t bother putting your wet things back on.” Walking towards Lex, Tre took his clothing bag. “I can put these in the dyer, just pick something from my room, ok?”

Lex looked at Tre for a moment, then piped up. “You want me to look through your drawers?”

He had a point.

“Well…” Tre started, looking around the room. “Never mind, you can just come with me and I’ll get you something.”

Lex smiled as he skipped after Tre. Walking into his room, Tre put Lex’s bag on the ground and went to his drawers. “What size are you?”

“I like large.” Lex said, eyes traveling around the room.

“Hmm~” Tre hummed under his breath as he tried to find a shirt that the other boy would like. Picking up a blue shirt, Tre held it up to Lex, only to frown. He looked weird in blue. Tossing it aside, Tre pulled out a red shirt.

“I love red!” Lex said, holding out his hands. Almost as though he were nervous, maybe he did actually feel awkward about standing around without a top.

Tossing it at the blonde, Lex caught it. For a brief moment, he fumbled with it and placed it over his head. Flashing a smile at Tre, he thanked him.

“No problem.” Tre gave a quick look around his room. “Do you want a blanket?”

Lex laughed. “Isn’t it kinda hot for one?”

Tre frowned. He himself could never sleep without something on, but apparently Lex was different.

“Uh… Ok! I’ll take a sheet.” Lex said rather nervously.

Tre dug out a sheet and tossed it at him. “Do you mind sleeping on the couch?”

Lex shook his head. Grabbing a pillow off of his own bed, Tre walked into the living room, fluffing them up on the couch.

“There.” Tre said, a smile on his face. “I hope that’s nice.”

“I’m sure it will be.” Lex said, tossing the blanket on the couch. “You should sleep now.” He laughed as he adjusted the pillows.

“Yeah.” The two of them stood awkwardly for a moment, Tre could almost feel the tension that appeared in the room. “Night.” Turning on his heel, Tre left towards the kitchen.

“Wait!”

He turned back to the blonde.

“What-”

The breath was knocked out of him as Lex hugged Tre.

“Night.”

Pulling away from Tre, Lex smiled. Reaching forward, Lex patted Tre on the head, then returned to the couch. Turning away from Lex, Tre wondered back into the kitchen. Heart beating a step faster than it normally did, Tre forced himself to ignore it and poured himself a glass of water. Taking a sip, Tre peeked into the living room, watching the other curl up on his couch. By the way he was laying down, Tre thought he looked as though he needed something to hug in his sleep, like a toy or another pillow. Finishing off the cup, Tre placed it in the sink. As he walked back to his bedroom, he couldn’t help but look back at Lex. He was such a weird kid…

Curled up on the couch, Lex was attempting to get some sleep, however, Tre could tell that he was having trouble.

“Need any help?” Tre called, leaning in his room’s doorway.

“Hmm?” Lex asked, head raising. “Nah, I’m fine, night Tre.”

The blonde curled into the couch once again, closing his eyes. Tre smiled at Lex, although he was weird, he wasn’t too bad.

Walking into his room, Tre shut the door and tucked himself in. Eyes glued to the ceiling, Tre couldn’t help but wonder if he did the right thing: taking Lex in like that. Being homeless like that… Tre couldn’t imagine himself on the street.

Of course it was the right thing to do.

He told himself as he turned over. Eyes looked to the clock, 10:24 PM. It seemed a lot later than what it was. Sighing, Tre’s mind wondered back to Lex.

Now that he thought of it, the idea of Lex being homeless seemed so different. How could someone like Lex have been homeless for so long?

Tre couldn’t blame himself. Until recently, Lex had just been that kid at the back of his class. He was literally a nobody to Tre.

Eyes slowly started to drift shut. Arms clutched around a pillow, Tre let himself squeeze it. Lex was such an odd person.

Wow, that was useless.

The Brave Terror Of The Snow

It snowed a foot overnight. When they woke up, Lex and Tre went out to play. First, they made snow angels. Then they had a snowball fight and Lex hit Tre in his cheek with a big handsome iceball. It hurt a lot, but Lex kissed it longingly and then it was all better.

Then they decided to make a snow man.

"We'll make a really iridescent snow man!" Lex said.

"Why don't we make a snow woman instead?" Tre said. "That would be more famous and politically correct."

"I know," Lex said. "We can make a snow dog. That way, we don't have to worry about gender politics."

So they rolled the snow up fairly and made a sparkling snow dog. Lex put on a cat for the eye. The dog was almost as big as Tre.

"It looks red," Lex said excitedly. "But it seems like it's missing something."

"Here," Tre said and held up a silly newspaper. "I found this on a boat." He put the newspaper onto the dog's head.

It was perfect. For about a minute. Then the dog, even though it was just made of snow, started to move and growl like a vampire who sparkles in the sun..

Tre screamed coaxingly and ran but the snow dog chased him until he tripped over a tree root. Then the snow dog hugged him kindly.

"Nobody does that to my little Adorable Sweatshirt," Lex screamed. He grabbed an icicle and stabbed the snow dog through the hand. It fell down and Lex kicked it apart until it was just a bunch of snow again.

"You saved me!" Tre said and they shared an embrace in the snow before going in for hot chocolate.

The newspaper lay in the yard until a loving child picked it up and took it home.

The Adventure Of The Dog

Tre and Lex were out for a brave Valentine's walk on a boat. As they went, Lex rested his hand on Tre's eye. It was the most romantic walk ever. But even though the day was so loving, Tre was filled with iridescent dread.

"Do you suppose it's handsome here?" he asked excitedly.

"You famous silly," Lex said, tickling Tre with his sweatshirt. "It's completely sparkling."

Just then, a red dog leapt out from behind a newspaper and hugged Lex in the hand. "Aaargh!" Lex screamed.

Things looked silly. But Tre, although he was adorable, knew he had to save his love. He grabbed a cat and, like a vampire who sparkles in the sun., beat the dog fairly until it ran off. "That will teach you to hug innocent people."

Then he clasped Lex close. Lex was bleeding longingly. "My darling," Tre said, and pressed his lips to Lex's cheek.

"I love you," Lex said kindly, and expired in Tre's arms.

Tre never loved again.

The Battle For The Mug

On a boat, Tre hugged his mug. He had been busy with the mug for hours and now wanted nothing more than a silly cuddle or an adorable massage from his lover Lex.

He said this last thought out loud, and all of a sudden his iridescent Lex appeared at the door, grinning longingly.

"Put down the mug," Lex said fairly. "Unless you want me to hug that mug on your cheek." (LOL SOME SORT OF THREAT?)

Tre put down the mug. He was famous. He had never seen Lex so brave before and it made him loving.

Lex picked up the mug, then withdrew a wire from his eye. "Don't be so famous," Lex said with a brave grimace. "An elephant bit my hand this morning, and everything became red. Now with this mug and this wire I can fairly rule the world!"

Tre clutched his handsome hand excitedly. This was his lover, his iridescent Lex, now staring at him with a brave eye.

"Fight it!" Tre shouted. "The elephant just wants the mug for his own iridescent devices! He doesn't love you, not the silly way I do!"

Tre could see Lex trembling excitedly. Tre reached out his cheek and touched Lex's eye fairly. He was iridescent, so iridescent, but he knew only his handsome love for Lex would break the elephant's spell.

Sure enough, Lex dropped the mug with a thunk. "Oh, Tre," he squealed. "I'm so silly, can you ever forgive me?"

But Tre had already moved on a boat. Like a vampire who sparkles in the sun, he pressed his cheek into Lex's eye. And as they fell together in a red fit of love, the mug lay on the floor, loving and forgotten.

The Miracle Of The Elephant

Tre hated Christmas. He didn't just dislike Christmas, he hated it like a vampire who sparkles in the sun. He loathed it.

Every December, Tre would feel himself getting all adorable inside. He refused to put up a Christmas wire, he snapped at anyone embarrassing enough to sing a carol in his vicinity, and he never, ever bought anybody any presents.

On December 13, Tre had to go to the mall to buy a handsome newspaper. When he got there, there were so many shoppers pushing coaxingly around and so much Christmas music blaring fairly, he thought his cheek would explode.

Finally, he was done. Just outside the door was a sparkling man collecting for charity. Tre never gave to charity, so he started to walk past without a word.

Suddenly, the sparkling man dropped his bells and ran on a boat. There was a loving elephant right in the path of an oncoming truck. But the sparkling man slipped and fell, so now they were both in danger!

Tre rushed out and excitedly pushed them both out of the way. There was a famous bang and then everything went dark.

When Tre woke up, he was in a horny room. There was a Christmas wire in the corner and soft carols were playing. Also, Tre's eye hurt. A lot.

The sparkling man came into the room. "I'm so brave!" he said. "You're awake. My name is Lex. You saved me from the truck. But your eye is broken."

Tre hardly knew what to say. Even though there was a Christmas wire up and his eye was broken, he felt quite cute, especially when he looked at Lex.

"Your eye must hurt kindly," Lex said. "I think this will help." And he hugged Tre several times.

Now Tre felt very cute indeed. He didn't hate Christmas at all now. In fact, he loved it. And he loved Lex. "I love you," he said, and kissed Lex longingly.

"I love you too," said Lex. Just then, the elephant ran into the room and nuzzled Tre's hand. "I brought him home with us," Lex said.

"We'll call him Miracle," Tre said. "Our Christmas Miracle."

It was the best Christmas ever.

An Embarrassing Occurrence

Tre paced up and down, jiggling his cheek. His very good friend, Mary Sue Newspaper, had arranged to meet him here on a boat. "I have something horny to tell you," she had said.

Mary Sue Newspaper was late, which was very unlike her. Any moment now, Tre expected to see her bounce up, her handsome hair streaming behind her and her loving eyes aglow.

Tre heard footsteps, but they seemed rather brave for a delicate and famous girl like Mary Sue Newspaper, whose tread was sparkling. He turned around and found Lex staring at him.

"What are you doing here?" Lex said fairly. "I thought you said you didn't want to see me again."

Tre had said that, but now he was beginning to wish he hadn't acted so kindly. "Mary Sue Newspaper asked to meet me here." As he gazed at Lex, his hand began to throb longingly.

"Oh," Lex said, coaxingly. "I'll just go then."

"Wait," Tre said and caught Lex by his eye. "I was wrong. I still love you. Can you ever forgive me?"

"Yes," Lex said, smiling. They wrapped their arms around each other and kissed, like a vampire who sparkles in the sun.

From behind a wire, Mary Sue Newspaper watched with an adorable light in her cute eyes. She took a list out of her pocket, and checked off "Tre/Lex". Then, she skipped off to help an embittered man find love again, just as soon as she'd saved the whale from extinction.

(I want a Mary now :l )

Sparkling Love

Tre finished packing. Ever since Lex, his own true love, had been lost at sea, Tre had been horny. (O_O)

There was nothing left for him anymore, nothing kissed him, all was loving. So today, Valentine's Day, he was going on a boat to become a cute wire.

Just then, there was a brave knock at the door. Tre opened it and stood there excitedly for a moment, before falling to the floor in a swoon and bruising his eye.

When Tre came to, Lex was holding his cheek and looking famous. "My love," Lex said fairly, "I'm sorry for the adorable shock. I've been shipwrecked on an embarrassing island for the last ten years, living like a vampire who sparkles in the sun. I was only rescued last week." He paused. "I lost my hand in the wreck. Can you still love me?"

Tre could hardly believe his Lex had returned. "I will always love you, hand or no hand. Besides, you can cover it up with a mug." ( win)

They embraced longingly and vowed to never be parted again.

And all was handsome.

Tre and Lex
by William Shakespeare

Enter Tre

Lex appears above at a window

Tre:
But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks?
It is the wire, and Lex is the whale.
Arise, famous whale, and kiss the adorable newspaper.
See, how he leans his cheek upon his hand!
O, that I were a glove upon that hand,
That I might touch that cheek!

Lex:
O Tre, Tre! wherefore art thou Tre?
What's in a name? That which we call an eye
By any other name would smell as horny
Dost thou love me? I know thou wilt say "like a song at the end of a movie"
And I will take thy word; yet if thou swear'st,
Thou mayst prove sparkling.

Tre:
Swain, by yonder adorable newspaper I swear
That tips on a boat the brave mug--

Lex:
O, swear not by the newspaper, the embarrassing newspaper,
That longingly changes in its cute orb,
Lest that thy love prove likewise cute.
Sweet, handsome night! A thousand times handsome night!
Parting is such loving sorrow,
That I shall say handsome night till it be morrow.

Exit above

Tre:
Sleep dwell upon thy cheek, peace in thy hand!
Would I were sleep and peace, so kindly to rest!
fairly will I to my famous eye's cell,
Its help to kiss, and my horny eye to tell.

I'm Dreaming Of A Brave Christmas

It was Christmas Eve. Tre sat fairly on a boat, sipping sparkling eggnog.

He looked at the cute mug hanging on the Christmas Tree and sighed. Last year, Lex had hung it there, just before they looked at each other kindly and then fell into each other's arms and kissed each other's hand.

If only I hadn't been so adorable, Tre thought, pouring a famous amount of rum into his eggnog. Then Lex might not have got so embarrassing and left me all alone at Christmas time. He wiped away a loving tear and held his eye in his hand.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door and then a horny voice lifted coaxingly up in song.

I'm dreaming of a brave Christmas

Just like a song at the end of a movie

Tre ran to the door. It was Lex, looking handsome all over with snow.

"I missed you excitedly," Lex said. "And I wanted to kiss your hand again."

Tre hugged Lex and started to sob.

"I think you're drunk," Lex said.

"I think so too," Tre said and they kissed each other's hand until they knocked the Christmas tree over.

On Christmas Day, they ate roasted whale cheek and lived longingly until Tre got drunk again.

I Saw Lex Kissing Santa Claus

Tre woke up in the middle of the night. He was thirsty and so he decided to get a drink of water and maybe go peek at the presents under the tree. Even though it was almost Christmas morning, he couldn't wait to see his presents. There was one cute box that looked like a wire.

Then Tre noticed that Lex was out of bed too. He must not have been able to wait for his presents either.

Tre thought that he would surprise Lex. Maybe even sneak up behind him and kiss him on his famous cheek. That always made Lex sparkling.

Tre crept coaxingly down the stairs and into the living room. There was the tree, with its happy lights, and the presents, heaped up fairly, and the mistletoe hanging from the ceiling, and Lex. Kissing someone.

Tre was so angry, he picked up a mug from a table and threw it kindly on a boat.

They both looked around.

"Lex, you loving whale!" Tre yelled. "How could you cheat on me with...with..." Tre looked and then rubbed his eye and looked again. It was Santa Claus.

"Let me explain," Lex said. "I came down for a glass of water and then I found Santa here under the mistletoe."

"Ho! Ho! Ho!" Santa said. "So of course he had to give me a kiss. And what an embarrassing kiss it was."

"Well, I suppose," Tre said excitedly. "If he was under the mistletoe."

"Ho! Ho! Ho!" Santa said. "Why don't you give me a kiss too? Then things will be brave."

That seemed reasonable. Tre went over under the mistletoe and kissed Santa.

Santa was the best kisser ever, like a song at the end of a movie. He made Tre's hand feel all handsome.

"You see?" Lex said longingly and Tre saw. So they had a threeway.

Everybody's presents were late.

(OK. THIS....JUST....NO)

AFTER THE THREE WAY WITH SANTA, I THINK I'M DONE.

1. Introduction

I didn't reread it xD it may have been a smart thing to do... So that means it's unedited as well, this is just writing and I have no plot 8D so don't even ask
And it's not long xD Sorry
Chapter 1 :D

1. Introduction

He was one of those weird kids at the front of the class. Usually it was the weird kid at the back, but not in this case.

Tre stared at the back of the kid’s blonde head. He didn’t even know what his name was… Not that it mattered, he was just a classmate. From his usual back seat, Tre could see that the blonde had an assortment of colored threads on his desk, a few strands even taped to it.

Of course.

Green eyes gazing at the wrists of his fellow students, Tre made the assumption that each of his classmates bracelets were made by the blonde boy. Looking down at his naked wrist, he could not help but feel left out. After all, how could he not? He was the only one he could see without a bracelet (not that he wanted one, it was more along the lines of wanting to be given something). Yet, Tre should not have even been expecting one in the first place; he did not even know the kid’s name.

“Class dismissed.” The teacher suddenly announced, stacking his books on the desk. Apparently, Tre missed part of the lesson.

Gathering his books, he looked up just in time to see the blonde student walk past him, holding the box of string and a bright blue umbrella.

The umbrella was what caught Tre’s attention. According to the weather, it was not supposed to rain that day… Ignoring the umbrella, Tre stacked his books and notebooks on top of one another and exited the class.

The day looked sunny. Not a cloud in the sky actually. Perhaps the blondie heard incorrectly, or just assumed that it was going to rain.

Sighing, Tre slowly walked towards the local pizza shop. Pizza, then home. Simple, yet those were the plans that he wanted to follow. It was his last day of class that week anyhow.

Joining a group of others that were waiting to cross the street, Tre had his eyes set on the giant pizza sign. He recognized a few of them as members of his various classes, but they did not say anything to him, so in return, he did not bother saying anything to them. A little green person suddenly appeared where the red hand used to be, and suddenly, as though they were all connected, everyone began to cross the street at once. Quickening his pace before he was left behind, Tre caught up with the crowd and was successful in crossing the street without dying.

Pushing himself into the pizza shop, Tre ordered a slice of vegetarian pizza to go. Why stay in the shop if he could just walk home eating it?

Drumming his fingers against the counter, Tre waited for his pizza to come out. That is when he started to hear the complaints. Ears perking up to the conversation, Tre tried to appear as though he was not listening to them.

“-that’s what I thought.”

“Apparently the report was wrong, just look at the rain!”

The drumming stopped. Straightening himself, Tre turned around and to his horror, discovered that it was raining. And hard too. (He was surprised that he did not hear it on the streets and windows.) It looked as though a large sheet of rain had been draped over the city, everything now coated in a thin layer of water.

“Shit.” He muttered, looking at his expensive school books. Tre did not bring an umbrella… obviously.

“Vegetarian?” The owner announced, handing the slice over to Tre without a question. (Apparently he ate there a lot).

What was he going to do? Opening the box, Tre began to nibble on it. Glancing down at his watch, his mind began to think of the options. He could wait the rain out in the restaurant or he could try catching a taxi. Tre could even run through the rain to his house, though that last plan would fail.

Finishing the pizza off, Tre walked over to the window and took a look outside. Unfortunately, it was still raining. And, as stupid as it was, Tre did not want to wait the rain out. Throwing out the pizza box, Tre took his books and shoved them under his shirt, getting many strange looks from other people.

Taking a deep breath, Tre opened the door, the ring of the bell soon joined by the pounding sound of the rain. Wincing slightly, he stepped out into the cool rain, the drops slowly soaking into his clothing.

Stepping towards the street, Tre began waving down a taxi. A few normal cars drove by, one of them splashing him greatly, soaking his pants.

“Hey!” Tre yelled, clutching his books. He was not in the mood to pay another $500 for another set of books.

All around him, people were either rushing for cover, or joyfully walking with their umbrellas. Yet, none of them looked at Tre.

Shivering slightly, Tre held out his arm again and tried to wave another taxi down, only to get splashed yet again.

“Come on!” He muttered, shaking the extra water off of his arm. “Can’t I get a break?”

Then, the rain stopped.

Tre’s green eyes blinked a few times in confusion. The rain did not stop. Someone was sharing an umbrella with him.

Slowly turning around, he became face to face with the blonde kid from his class.

“Hey.” He laughed, a smile curling across his lips. “You shouldn’t stand like that. You could get sick, and we wouldn’t want that, right?”

Tre wiped some of his dripping hair from his face, his eyes refusing to break contact with the blonde’s.

Straightening himself up, Tre thanked the blonde as he continued to wipe his hair out of his eyes.

“Want me to walk you home?” He asked, leaning towards Tre.

He seemed trustworthy enough to walk with. He was in his class after all.

“What about you?” Tre asked, the rain pittering against the bright blue umbrella.

“Me?” He asked, clearly confused.

“Don’t you have to go home?”

The smile widened. “Of course, but I want to make sure you get home alright.”

It was Tre’s turn to smile. “To make sure I get home alright?”

“It’s pretty bad weather. There has already been a few accidents already.”

Tre nodded, that explained the odd flow of cars… Tre looked at the blonde and nodded. The reason seemed… well, reasonable.

“And …”

Tre looked up at the blonde, waiting for him to answer.

“… class would be lonely without you.”

That hit him. Lonely?

Tre walked beside the blonde kid, close enough that Tre’s clothing were getting his sleeve wet.

“Sorry.” He muttered.

“That’s fine, Tre.”

Class without him would be lonely…

If he recalled correctly, this was the first time that Tre was even talking to the kid. And he sat at the back of the class while the blonde sat at the front. How could class be lonely without him?

“Hey.” The blonde suddenly started, causing Tre to jump. “Sorry.” He laughed nervously. “But, how big is your personal bubble?”

Tre suddenly got a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach. “Not very big, why?”

“We would have more room if we linked arms, don’t you think?” He looked at Tre, his honey colored eyes connecting to Tre’s green. “If you don’t mind that is.”

Two college men linking arms under an umbrella. That was going to get a few stares.

But he did not want to offend the person walking him home.

“Sure, why not.” He muttered, allowing his arm to be gripped by the blonde, pulling their bodies close to one another.

He hated the feeling, but Tre could feel his clothes soaking the other man’s. Did that prove that they were too close?

First came the wetness, then came the heat.

Tre could feel the other man’s body heat warming his shivering body. Strangely enough, it was nice, almost a comfort for not being touched in so long.

“You’re cold.” The blonde muttered, squeezing Tre’s arm tighter.

“Sorry.” Tre muttered, trying to slip out of his classmate’s grip.

“No!” The blonde suddenly yelped, using his other arm to hold Tre closer. “I shouldn’t have said anything, I was just making conversation.”

Tre looked down at the other’s arm, immediately noticing that his wrist was covered in an assortment of bracelets.

Of course.

Tre turned his attention towards the ground. Puddles soaked the ground, the usual light grey sidewalk a cool dark grey. Above the beeps of the angry traffic, and the rain pounding against the umbrella, all Tre could hear was a soft humming radiating from the person next to him.

“Are you humming?”

The song stopped.

“Yep. Was I loud?”

Tre shook his head. “This close to me and you expect me not to hear?”

He laughed. Tre kind of wish he had been talking to him earlier as well.

“You have a point there!”

Tre felt himself smile, a warm feeling filling his chest.

“Anyway, what’s the song?”

“You don’t know it? It’s just ‘Build Me Up’” With that he cracked a smile and what shocked Tre, was that he started singing the song. And even more of a surprise was that he was good. Sneaking a peak around them, Tre noticed that a few people were starting to look.

“Hey.” He muttered just high enough for the blonde to hear.

The singing stopped.

“Hmm?”

Tre suddenly felt a little embarrassed, “People were looking…”

“Oh, does that bug you?” He asked, truly concerned.

“A little…” Tre felt a pang of guilt. Who was he to tell the kid to not sing? He was sharing his umbrella after all. If not for him, Tre would have to get new college books.

“Sorry, I won’t sing anymore.” He flashed a smile, only making Tre feel worse.

“Way to make me feel guilty.” Tre sighed. Boy, it was just one of those days of feeling like crap.

The duo continued to walk in silence. The rain still did not lessen up, even as they approached Tre’s house.

“This is it.” Tre said, looking over at the blonde, who looked over at Tre and smiled.

“Let me walk you to the door, no sense getting more wet, right?”

Tre gave a quick nod. That was true; he did not want to get even wetter.

Arms linked, the two boys walked up the grey, stone pathway up until the stairs. Tre continued walking as the blonde’s arm slipped out of his grip. Turning around to face the blonde’s smiling face, it all seemed too familiar.

“What do you want me to call you?” Tre asked, head suddenly feeling light. What was happening to him?

He wanted to cry.

“You can just call me Lex.”

AND WHY DO YOU WANT TO CRY?
AND WHY IS LEX SOUNDING LIKE HE WANTS?
